one of my favourite bands in the world
Dale, hailing now from Calgary, graced us with his presence last night and it was definitely like old times. Last night I thought back to our days moonlighting as one of the world’s greatest rock, adult contemporary, country, spoken-word, and electronica bands at the time. We were once the Furnace Bros. Click here to head to our Behind The Music (Ral’s meticuluous attention to detail was what made the raw emotion of Furnace Bros shine like a star going super nova). I got to thinking about the songs we played back then and to youtube I went.
Back then there were only a couple of bands that were considered “competition” to the Furnace Bros. It was a healthy competition because a monopoly on our behalf would only saturate the masses with mind-blowing music without anything to compare it to. It would be like having corned beef hash everyday without having filet mignon to compare it to (I’ll let you work out which one is the better one). Incubus was one of those bands.
Jokes aside. This is why Incubus remains one of my favourite bands in the world.
