the nip of jack frost

Tonight, I:

  • skidded up a hill for more than 100 metres.
  • skidded down a hill for approximately 20 metres.
  • hit a curb, which probably did a number to my vehicle’s wheel alignment.
  • put on my hazard lights for a duration exceeding 30 seconds.
  • took a safety “detour” which added another 20-30 minutes onto a normal drive.
  • solidified the notion that the tires on my vehicle are bald as baby bum.
  • for the first time, was ever apprehensive about driving.

Please, if you are driving in this inclement weather, please please use care and caution.  I thoroughly enjoy driving but tonight this morning’s driving experience was altogether very discomforting.  Be safe everyone.

Talk soon. (=

Just avoid driving entirely, if today is any indication.
    Good thing you were unscathed.
