The word random and all of its derivatives (rands, randoms, randiferous, randtastic) is old school.  Let’s move on to entropy and its derivatives.

Today was an entropitous day.  On my walk to the bus (aside: I think the public transit system in Vancouver is great) I walk by a small field that is infested with the most cuddly, furry, cutesy dutesy wild rabbits.  There are several tiny ones so I take it they just finished a mating cycle.  Unfortunately, I saw one strewn across the road with its insides freshly squeezed by the wheel of a thousand-plus pound automobile.  I didn’t take a photo of that one.

I went to school to get some housekeeping done and the lady helping me out kindly said that it would take a week or so until I would hear a response from them.

I walked out and catched Ant walking into his lab.  I told him I had a daypass and was going to roam around.

I then decided to give Mumta a call because she wanted to hang out.  I walk around Gastown to kill time and tell her to go all the way to Waterfront.  I walk around and just catch the steam clock whistling.

She brought along Mel (はじめまして) and we go to Lonsdale Quay (pronounce that).

Here’s some food for thought for those that have been on the Seabus.  Why on earth does the emergency hatch lead below levels?  If, worst-case scenario, the ship were to sink, wouldn’t you want to head up to higher ground rather than go towards where there is water?

We grab a bite, eat some ice cream, go to Robson, and meet up entripitously with their friend Camille (はじめまして) and spend her break in the world-famous Starbucks across from the Starbucks.

Everybody parts ways and I come home to watch the Celtics come-back after being down 20 in the third quarter.

Good times all around.

shut the front door!

March 25, 2008

After yesterday’s post, readership went up to an all time high?

This is just a placeholder post for one that I must write tomorrow.  Sorry for getting your hopes up.

Have an awesome night.

happy monday everyone

March 10, 2008

In celebration of today, this glorious Monday, I present you this following public service announcement.

lolrus.jpg

The lolrus is an endangered animal, only 3 and one half are known to exist.  Please, give peace a chance.

Entropy is one of the laws of the universe.

My new 50 1.8 wasn’t responsible for the photo below.  I need to take her out on a proper spin before I post real pictures.  The next on the queue is some filters to protect the new glass and maybe a hood… then a Nikon SB-800 (tax return money?).
